Hot on the heels of the Green Carpet high jewellery range, Palme Verte is Chopard’s first diffusion collection made entirely from ethical gold. Crafted from 18ct yellow Fairmined gold, the design of these elegant pieces is inspired by the legendary Palme d’Or, which Chopard redesigned in 1998. Last year the trophy was made from Fairmined gold for the first time, a decision that reflects Chopard’s commitment to supporting ethical practices in the mining industry. Just like the Palme d’Or takes its gently curved lines and ribbed texture from the palm trees lining La Croisette, these features are recreated in smaller form on the Palme Verte pendant necklace. Light and wearable, the necklace is destined to become an everyday favourite that can easily be paired with the other jewels in the Palme Verte collection.
