De Beers has added to its Talisman jewellery collection by introducing new shapes and motifs that juxtapose rough and polished diamonds. Accustomed to the perfect symmetry of a dazzling white diamond solitaire, De Beers shows how dramatic the contrast between rough, irregular-shaped diamonds and exquisitely cut and polished diamonds can be. This De Beers Talisman signet ring is a study in texture, shape and earthy-coloured raw diamonds. Shaped like a rhomboid, the white gold is richly textured and inlaid with a large natural octahedron yellow diamond, which echoes the shape of the ring. Orbiting the central stone are four high voltage baguette-cut white diamonds punctuated by irregular-sized rough diamonds in muted earth tones.
