Oscars take two: more red carpet jewels from the most glamorous night in film

Jewellers from all over the world lined up to dress the leading ladies and gents who walked the Oscars 2014 red carpet on Sunday night.

High jewellery, timepieces and even cufflinks enjoyed their moment in the spotlight alongside some of Hollywood's most beautiful and talented actors during the 86th Academy Awards. Whether in the running for an Oscar or simply honoured to attend, jewellers from all over the world lined up to dress the stars for the most famous red carpet of them all.

E! Fashion Police correspondent Kelly Osbourne wore an elegant cream Badgley Mischka dress. The lace capelet was an accessory in their own right, but Kelly piled on the jewels by fellow Brit Solange Azagury-Partridge for a classy and cool look.

Matthew McCaughney and Camila Alves were the ultimate power couple of the night. McConaughey, who took home the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role, wore Chopard to collect his Oscar - a white gold L.U.C XP Tonneau watch and onyx and diamond cufflinks - while his wife Camila Alves, channeling regal Hollywood glamour, wore a Gabriela Cadena gown with Lorraine Schwartz jewels for one of my favourite looks of the night.

Ditching the skyscraper shoes and outlandish headwear, Lady Gaga was barely recognisable in a metallic-pink Versace gown and Lorraine Schwartz diamond jewels. Actress Jessica Biel,  minus husband Justin Timberlake, who is currently on tour, was far from alone draped in Tiffany & Co. diamonds. Inspired by original 1930s designs from the jeweller's archives, she wore a pretty bow bracelet with emerald-cut aquamarines and diamonds, a wide diamond bracelet, a five-row diamond bracelet, a diamond cluster necklace and diamond drop earrings.

Despite not being up for an award this year, presenter Penélope Cruz pulled out all the stops with her jewels, including a pair of elegant diamond chandelier earrings. And while it is always the ladies who steal the limelight at the Oscars, the leading men made some stylish sartorial choices when it came to their accessories.

Best Actor nominee Bradley Cooper, who took the celebrity-filled selfie that has quickly became the most retweeted image in Twitter's history, sported a choppy new hairstyle and a Chopard L.U.C 1937 Classic timepiece just visible beneath his cuff. And Oscar winner Jared Leto looked every inch the star in a cream tux, red bow tie and diamond dress set by Neil Lane, which winked in the spotlights during his acceptance speech.
