The El Corte Inglés department store is still a family-run business that provides literally everything under the sun, including an entire department set aside exclusively for watches.
Founded by partners José Fariña and Ignacio Almuzara in 2000, this contemporary jewellery boutique specialises in bespoke creations and offers an ever-changing range of bold statement pieces designed by Ignacio.
Occupying Gran Vía no. 1 is the iconic 1917 Grassy building, one of the most famous Madrid landmarks and home to the Grassy boutique since 1952.
Joaquín Berao is one of Spain’s most influential contemporary jewellers, combining his love of sculpture, painting, architecture and music in his wonderfully fluid jewellery.
The flagship Yanes boutique in the Salamanca district is one of Madrid’s favourite family jewellers and you can often spot Queen Letizia of Spain wearing the brand's high jewellery.
