SalonQP in London beckons watch lovers for another round of intense horological pleasures in 2014

Now in its sixth year, SalonQP, Britain’s premier watch event, already has a roster of 33 brands for its upcoming November show at the Saatchi Gallery.

Now in its 6th year, more than 30 brands will be showing at SalonQP, Britain's premier watch event, this November.

SalonQP, the British watch salon that unites the world's finest brands and independent watchmakers under one roof, already has a roster of 33 brands for its upcoming autumn show.

Now in its sixth edition and growing from strength to strength, SalonQP is the British take on Switzerland's heavyweight horological events, SIHH and Baselworld.  From independent watchmaker Andreas Strehler to industry leaders Jaeger-LeCoultre, Hermès, Piaget, Montblanc, TAG Heuer and Zenith, this year's SalonQP line-up welcomes Bonhoff UG, Moritz Grossman and Visconti to its venue at the Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea, London.

Unlike some salons, which restrict access to professional media and buyers, SalonQP is open to the public, and visitors are presented with a unique opportunity to view over 30 international brands in one place and very often chat to the watchmakers in person.

Showcasing their latest collections, many brands are accompanied by watch experts and artisans for on-the-spot enactments of their craft, while others impart seminars and workshops on the intricacies of high horology. Last year, British watchmaking master Roger Smith was on hand for a talk on his unique approach to the craft and the challenges facing the British watch industry.

SalonQP Director and Editor-in-Chief of QP Magazine, James Gurney, says: "2014 is a particularly exciting year for SalonQP as it will be the first under Telegraph Media Group ownership. With access to the resources and expertise that implies, now that we are part of one of the world's most prestigious media brands we are setting our sights higher than ever before."

Taking place from 6-8 November 2014 at the Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea, SalonQP beckons watch lovers for another round of intense horological pleasures.
