While many might think that an 8.18ct, D colour, SI1 pear-shaped diamond solitaire on a platinum band doesn’t need any extra sparkle, London jewellery designer Jessica Cormack disagrees. To make this magnificent jewel shine even brighter, the designer has created what she refers to as a Party Jacket - a second ring designed to snugly fit the other. This particular Party Jacket is called the Diamond Cape and is mounted in platinum with yellow gold on the reverse, and 7.6cts of baguette-cut diamonds that fan out beautifully down the hand.
