The name of the Master Control collection is derived from the rigorous testing procedures to which Jaeger-LeCoultre exposes these watches  Lasting 1000 hours over a period of six weeks, the watches are subjected to gruelling tests to insure reliability, sturdiness and precision. The lines of this Jaeger-LeCoultre are classical to the core, inspired by the tradition of 19th century pocket watches and fits right in to the current vogue for retro watches. A 39mm stainless steel case frames the minimalist dial indicating hours, minutes, seconds and the date and protects the in-house JLC calibre 899 automatic movement. It would be hard to go wrong with this atemporal timepiece from Jaeger-LeCoultre that has the makings of a classic.
