Since its launch in 1991, the Hermès Cape Cod watch collection has become the cornerstone of the maison's timepiece offerings. The curves of the case, for both the Cape Cod Tonneau and Cape Cod Nantucket watches, reproduce the signature links of Hermès' Chaine d'Ancre jewellery line. The new Cape Cod Nantucket Silver watch heralds the introduction of a new metal at Hermès. The case of the slender Nantucket has been crafted from a specially formulated silver alloy that ensures it will retain its sheen throughout the years. The 20 x 27mm silver case is illuminated with diamonds set in the bezel and lugs. The white watch face has appliqué silver Art-Deco style Arabic numerals with petite central hour and minute hands. The ultraviolet alligator leather strap fastens with a silver stirrup buckle that can be interchanged with other straps in the collection.
