Napoleon’s first wife, the Empress Joséphine, inspired this long diamond and white gold necklace, or sautoir as it is known in French, from Chaumet's Joséphine Rondes de Nuit collection. The traditional pear-shape drop is brought up to date with the clean minimal lines of the mount, all set in contemporary-looking white gold. It can be worn long or short, or dangling down the back.
