The family run fine jewellery house Avakian is renowned for its exquisite and extravagant haute joaillerie collections featuring precious gems. The new collection, Caché, was inspired by a commission from a private client seeking a ring that could also be worn as a pendant. The collection is named after the French word for a hidden assortment of objects. The hidden element of the Caché collection is found in the smooth diamond pavé wrapping that continues all the way round the inside of the rings. When worn as a ring, the inner diamond pavé is hidden from view and becomes a secret known only to the wearer. However, when strung on a sautoir and worn as a pendant, the beauty of this versatile jewel is visible from all angles. This Avakian Caché ring features rows of smooth black diamond pavé enveloping the substantial cocktail ring. A marquise-cut yellow diamond perches on top of the ring, framed by a pavé of white diamonds.
