Graff Diamonds previews sensational jewels before its return to the Paris Biennale after more than decade

After a 12-year hiatus, Graff returns to the Biennale des Antiquaires in Paris with jewellery that showcases its sourcing, cutting and gem-setting expertise.

After a 12-year absence, Graff is returning to the Biennale in 2014 with a collection of one-off jewels, including this nature-inspired sapphire and diamond necklace, created especially for the occasion.

Graff Diamonds will be making a highly anticipated return to this year's Biennale des Antiquaires in Paris after a 12-year absence.

The diamond company's stand promises to be a real crowd-puller, with each piece on display representing the epitome of Graff's craftsmanship and gemstone expertise.

A spectacular necklace inspired by nature, with lush clusters of sapphire beads surrounded by pavé diamond leaves and stems, will take centre stage along with a pair of matching earrings featuring a single emerald cut sapphire. The sapphire beads have been meticulously selected to match in both colour and size, ensuring that the gems flow effortlessly along the necklace.

Another standout piece is the emerald and tassel necklace, designed to showcase Graff's skill in sourcing, cutting and setting the finest gemstones. The tassel's central cushion-cut emerald is a vision of perfection that is bound to stop visitors to the Biennale in their tracks.

The stand itself has also been designed to do justice to the unique creations on display. Located at S.B. 4 and encompassing an impressive 71m sq, the space has been curated by Graff's Monaco-based interior design team to feature boldly striped marble floors, walnut wall panelling and bronze showcases. An eye-catching gold engraved glass wall will form the centrepiece of the stand.

"The Biennale brings together the finest luxury brands of the very highest calibre," says Francois Graff, chief executive officer of Graff Diamonds. "We are delighted to be involved in 2014 as we continue the expansion of the Graff Diamonds brand globally."

Graff Diamonds previously exhibited at the Paris Biennale in 2002 and also in 2000, to coincide with the opening of its first store outside the UK, in Monaco's Hotel de Paris. Since then, the company has grown to incorporate over 45 stores around the world, in the UK and Europe as well as Asia, North America and the Middle East.

Mr Graff adds: "As a vertically integrated business, we are highly unique in that we are involved in every stage of the jewellery making process, from the sourcing of the rough stone through to the cutting, polishing and final setting of each exquisite jewel. The pieces that are anticipated to be on display at the Biennale reflect this expertise."
