Prior to the 14 May Sotheby's sale of Magnificent Jewels from the collection of Gina Lollobrigida's jewels in Geneva, the diva herself turned up to launch the exhibition of her jewels. Arriving in true head-turning style, La Lollobrigida stepped out of a slinky Pagani sports car accompanied by Horacio Pagani, founder of the luxury Italian sports car manufacturer. Chairman of Sotheby's Switzerland and Middle East, David Bennett was there to welcome Ms Lollobrigida at the event held at the Beau Rivage Hotel.
Twenty-three of the actress's jewels, worn on various high-profile occasions, including many jewels by Bulgari from the 1950's and 1960's. Part of the proceeds from the sale of the Bulgari Masterpieces will benefit Stem Cell Research. See the jewels and read more about the auction here.
