The high-octane glam fest that is the Cannes Film Festival continued over the weekend with a deluge of stunning red carpet jewellery.

As the official partner of the Cannes Film Festival since 1998, Chopard jewellery graced the wrists, necks and earlobes of celebrities from all over the world as they made their way to premieres and parties.

On Sunday, model Poppy Delevingne turned heads wearing a unique Chopard high jewellery necklace dripping with diamonds. Looking stunning in a whimsical boho-inspired sheer green Burberry Prorsum dress, Poppy also wore a Toi & Moi Chopard ring set with two 5ct emerald-cut diamonds.

Celebrated French actresses Emmanuelle Béart and Léa Seydoux also chose Chopard red carpet jewellery, with the former wearing a single Chopard diamond earring and diamond bracelet for the premiere of Irrational Man. Léa, who was awarded the Palme d'Or prize in 2013 for her role in Blue is the Warmest Colour, walked the red carpet at the premiere of her new film The Lobster in some of the most colourful high jewellery of the festival so far. In an elegant Miu Miu dress and Chopard earrings featuring pear-shaped blue sapphires and white diamonds, as well as a matching sapphire ring, the French actress proved that you can dazzle on the red carpet without resorting to plunging necklines.

In a coral Elie Saab gown with her dark curls tumbling around her face, Andie MacDowell looked as though she hasn't aged at all in the two decades since she starred in Four Weddings and A Funeral. The American actress' Cannes jewellery choices were spot-on: a beautiful Chaumet ring in rose gold and coloured gemstones from the Hortensia collection for the Inside Out premiere.

Sienna Miller also looked resplendent in her Cannes jewellery, teaming a gothic black Sonia Rykiel dress with a dramatic Bulgari high jewellery choker in white gold and diamonds. The British actress, who is a judge at the 68th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, also wore a white gold and diamond pavé Bulgari Serpenti ring.

Salma Hayek-Pinault wore a magenta Gucci dress accessorised with a Gucci necklace in white gold and diamonds at the premiere of Luchino Visconti's restored version of Italian classic film Rocco and His Brothers. In a strapless Dior gown and pulled-back hair, Natalie Portman was a vision of Hollywood glamour at the premiere of her directorial debut, A Tale of Love and Darkness. A pair of sparkling de GRISOGONO earrings in white gold with diamond-set spirals completed her stunning red carpet look.

Diane Kruger joined her Maryland co-star Matthias Schoenaerts on the Cannes red carpet for the premiere of The Sea of Trees wearing a pale blue backless Prada dress accessorised with classic white diamond Harry Winston jewellery, while Cate Blanchett continued her unbroken run of stylish red carpet jewellery at the premiere of her new film Carol. The Australian actress looked every inch the A-list movie star wearing a between-the-finger Van Cleef & Arpels ring and diamond earrings from the Lotus collection.
