Novak Djocovik and his Audemars Piguet Royal Oak

What was that watch on Novak Djocovik's wrist as he collected his trophy at the Australian Open?

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak worn by Djokovic at Australian Open

One of the most exciting men's tennis match in many years has to be the men's final at the Australian Open on Sunday 29th January when after nearly six hours and  five gruelling sets, Novak Djocovik beat Rafael Nadal three sets to two. This match will go down in history as the longest Grand Slam ever and both players pushed themselves beyond the limits of physical and mental endurance and exertion.

While millions watched the two titans thrash each other on the blue court, I of course was looking to see what the players had on their wrists. Nadal, as expected wore his lightweigth Richard Mille watch throughtout the match ( read more by clicking here) while Djocovik's wrist was bare until he put on an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak to pick up the victor's trophy. A suitable choice as it is the watch The Terminator wears.
