A design icon in his homeland and still a global name in silverware, the Koldinghus Museum pays tribute to Danish artist and designer Georg Jensen (1866-1935) with one of the most comprehensive exhibitions of his works ever staged. A Tale of Danish Silver takes the visitor on a journey through the different eras of Danish design via rare pieces from Georg Jensen’s private collection, and important loans from museums and collectors around the world. Naturalistic jewellery designs from the Art Nouveau period sit alongside the striking modernist silverware that helped propel the Georg Jensen brand onto an international stage. Essential viewing for both jewellery and design aficionados.

Admission to museum: adults 80 DKK; pensioners 64 DKK; students 40 DKK; under 18s free.

Not to be missed Not to be missed
