Graduation is such an important moment for our children, that I've chosen seven presents from the 5,000 pounds that will make her day memorable.

Now believe it or not, I spend my days looking at jewellery and watches, which means that I'm in the perfect position to make a selection of contemporary yet timeless jewels and watches, that will make her feel really special today, and that she'll treasure forever.

You can't go wrong with a famous Tiffany blue box on graduation day and imagine the smile on her face when she's presented with this cute Tiffany T Smile pendant, shimmering with diamonds.

I'm sure she will love these pendants with her initials in diamonds from Boodles and they're available in either white, yellow or rose gold in two different sizes.

You may not know VANLELES, but you should, as it's a little bit of a secret on Bond Street, and it's where original design meets great style and prices. This ring is from the Lyla’s Bow collection and the knot signifies strength and love, two things she will need as she sets out in life.

Transformable jewellery is such a good option and Robinson Pelham presents these hoops that you can buy on their own or in pairs, as well as these little charms that you can mix and match and they won't break the bank.

And each one signifies something different and the cone signifies determination, which is just what a girl needs, as she embarks on the next chapter in her life.

Established in Beirut in the 1930s, Daou is known for colourful jewels, that in its heyday, were worn by Brigitte Bardot and Grace Kelly. Today the emphasis is still on bright colours, but with a modern look.

Mimata means little indulgence in Portuguese and this dainty diamond ring will melt her heart. The Empress ring is edgy, but it mirrors the silhouette of a very traditional tiara and is the perfect first diamond jewellery gift for a young graduate.

A watch is also a good option for a girl and I like this Ralph Lauren RL888, as it has interchangeable straps, making it ideal for a quick change of look, but it's got enough for a classic edge to make it timeless.

I really hope that I've help you choose the perfect graduation gift, and that it will last for many years to come.
