Yannis Sergakis is part of a new guard of Greek jewellery designers creating fresh interpretations of the country’s long-standing jewellery-making heritage. The descendant of generations of diamond traders, he worked in the family business before following his passion for jewellery design and setting up his own business in 2004. Working exclusively with gold and diamonds, Yannis transforms these classic materials into exquisite, minimalist designs that make a statement in the most elegant way. The Charnières collection is inspired by a hinge used by jewellers many centuries ago to tie precious metals and stones together. Like the other pieces in the collection, this cuff features a unique diamond setting where rhodium-plated gold protrudes over the edges to hold the round-cut gems in place.
