Women are in the limelight this year at Roger Dubuis and this spectacular watch from the Velvet collection has been decked out with a rich, pleated, gold leather strap made by the famous Parisian shoemaker Massaro. Inspired by Hollywood’s goddesses of the golden age, the warm gold tones of the strap are echoed in the centre of the dial and in the two golden hour markers applied at 6 and 12 o’clock. The bezel, lugs and decor of the 36mm white gold case sparkle with brilliant-cut diamonds, while the superior automatic mechanical movement provides a 48-hour power reserve.
