Sweet and Sour orchid ring

Parisian jewellery designer Lydia Courteille launches a collection each year that interprets her classic, signature designs while exploring the textures and colours of unusual materials. For 2014 Courteille has crafted a collection of 15 unique pieces from candy-pink phosphosiderite. This Sweet and Sour ring features a beautifully carved orchid with a central yellow topaz. The flower is crawling with delicate bejewelled creatures including a scuttling ladybird and a slithering snake. The Sweet and Sour collection is a whimsical set of jewellery that is available exclusively from the Lydia Courteille boutique on Rue Saint Honoré in Paris.
