Joséphine, wife of Napoleon I and the first Empress of France, was known for her elegance and style. The pear-shape was one of her favourite motifs and it echoes throughout Chaumet's Rondes de Nuit collection, brought up to date with a simple geometric design crafted out of white gold and set with diamonds.
