Sculptor and jeweller Bibi van der Velden has taken her fascination with the stars above and turned it into the Galaxy fine jewellery collection, designed around dark Tahitian pearls that the designer believes hold within them their own galaxy waiting to be discovered. This Galaxy Small Planet necklace stars a baroque Tahitian pearl looped by a ring of rose gold to give it a Saturn-like appearance. Orbiting round this pearly planet are white diamond, opal, blue sapphire and tourmaline charms affixed to a long 18 carat rose gold chain.
