What necklace was Céline Dion wearing at her Paris concert?

Céline Dion wore Boucheron’s The Address diamond necklace with a 10.01-carat diamond for her much-anticipated return to live performance that took place in Paris on Saturday 12 September. It was the first of the ‘Céline Dion Paris 2026-2027’ concerts that took place at the Plénitude Arena de Paris. The Canadian singer chose the showstopping, high-profile The Address necklace by Boucheron to mark this important event, after six years out of the limelight due to suffering from Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS).

What is the story behind Céline Dion’s diamond necklace?

The Address necklace was unveiled in Paris in January 2026 as part of the 'Nom: Boucheron Prénom: Frédéric' collection. The necklace features a 10.01-carat emerald-cut diamond inspired by an 1839 house archive design that echoes the shape of the Place Vendôme as seen from above.  Boldly architectural in its volume, the references to Paris are echoed in diamonds set like paving stones and the black enamel frame. The pendant is suspended from a ribbon of white gold entirely set with baguette diamonds, adding fluidity, grace and a large dose of glamour. The central diamond can be removed to be worn as a ring.

Each year, a new chapter is added to the 'Histoire de Style' family of jewels, based on the house’s extensive design heritage. The necklace honours the jeweller’s Place Vendôme headquarters in Paris and its role as the first major jeweller to move to the famous square.

What other jewels did Céline Dion wear for the Paris concert?

Céline Dion wore other Boucheron high jewellery for the videos projected during the performance, including the Tattoo necklace from the summer 2026 Carte Blanche Human Being collection (see video below). The Tattoo necklace creates the illusion of Victorian-inspired body art directly inked onto the skin. The smoky quartz drops were decorated on the reverse using the traditional art of glyptic engraving with the house’s signature motifs, including the rose, poppy, snake, butterfly, and cicada. The effect is of the drawings sitting on the skin, like a tattoo.

Why did Céline Dion choose Boucheron jewels?

Céline Dion has worn creations by many different jewellers over her career, so the choice of Boucheron is a new direction. These outsize, high-profile jewels are ideal for large-scale events given their visibility and, in the case of The Address diamond necklace, shine bright with high voltage light. The shoulder-less Dior black gown was the perfect match for The Address necklace.

Set with a 1.74-carat D VVS1 triodia-cut diamond, 580 carats of smoky quartz and pavé diamonds in white gold, the necklace recreates the illusion of Victorian-inspired tattoo motifs traced directly onto the skin. Presented during Paris Haute Couture Week in July 2026.

The Tattoo necklace (above, on model) is equally dramatic in size and almost entirely covers the chest, with its cascading drop-shaped smoky quartz drops offering both great visibility as well as making a statement about Céline Dion’s artistic and cultural sensitivity.

We will be looking out for further appearances of Céline Dion in Boucheron’s high jewellery creations.
