A watch that is designed for scuba and saturation diving featuring a minimum water resistance of 100 metres or more, to satisfy the requirements specified in ISO Standard 6425 with the word DIVER on the dial. The ISO 6425 also requires a dive watch to have a unidirectional rotating bezel with five-minute elapsed markings, clearly distinguishable minute indices on the dial, luminosity in total darkness, magnetic and shock resistance, and other criteria. Not to be confused with water-resistant.
