A descendant of the famous Meylan watchmaking family hailing from the Vallée de Joux in Switzerland, Claude Meylan is determined to revive the family speciality of skeletonising watch movements. Literally undressing ETA movements to reveal every last detail, some of Meylan’s skeletonised creations are inspired by the seasonal changes of nature, evoking the stark beauty of a tree in winter.
