CHAUMET. Attrape moi si tu m'aimes Watch in white gold. POA

Chaumet, the jeweller to Napoleon, best known for its tiaras and regal jewels also has a long history of watchmaking. The house celebrates 200 years of watchmaking with a watch collection. See the video of Béatrice de Plinval talking about the exhibition. Chaumet marks two centuries of horological prowess with a collection of special watches that focus on the icons of the house, be they watches or jewellery. And the result is a collection with  colourful enamel dials, jewellery shaped cases and new versions of classics such as the Class One in titanium, the Khesis with a novel material or a new guise for the elegant Dandy. I love the 'Attrape moi' watches with their pretty opal bees and iridiscent dials. The Khesis introduces a "star crystal" which is a highly-resistant material the like a star sapphire, creates the effect of a flash of light in the crystal. To highlight Chaumet's watchmaking heritage, an exhibition entitled: "Chaumet: 200 years of watchmaking" that includes the anniversary collection of new watches, will be open to the public in Chaumet's Salons on 12 Place Vendôme, Paris. The exhibition will run until the 29th July.

Help us make the future bright

Since founding The Jewellery Editor in 2010, we have grown our digital magazine to be the number one global source of information and inspiration for fine jewellery and luxury watches.

3,500 articles, 150 videos with over 5 million views and a reach of over 2 million per month on social media later, we have offered unparalleled and highly respected coverage of our sector. However, despite our editorial success, we are financially struggling as an independent publisher.

Entirely funded, owned and run by Christine and Maria in London, we are now looking to sell The Jewellery Editor so that it can continue to grow. As e-commerce becomes a priority in our industry, we believe there is huge potential for engaging editorial content and are seeking a buyer who shares our values and passion so that under their guidance we can give a bright future to the platform and help us grow our business to the next stage.
