Maria Doulton: Boucheron take us to the seaside so while we're in Paris on a hot summer day, we can dream about those glorious Mediterranean waters and all those colours, the blues, the pinks, the whites.

This collection is called Dolce Riviera, and it picks up on several of the jet set locations where you might want to be on a rather hot day wearing some very colourful jewels that drape and sit on the skin so softly and move like water.

My favourite is one called Aiguebelle which has a massive opal in the middle which is quite '70s, and then swirls of different coloured sapphires and then swags of rock crystal.  I really feel I could wear that on the beach and not look that silly.
