Guests attending a cocktail party hosted by Zoya to celebrate the launch of its latest collection would have been forgiven for thinking they were in the Costa del Sol rather than New Delhi.

The exclusive Indian jeweller threw a proper Spanish fiesta, complete with flamenco dancers, Spanish guitar and Sangria, to present its latest, limited-edition collection, Espan~a.

Inspired by the art, culture and architecture of Spain, the new collection is a fitting tribute to Zoya's thirst for discovery and creativity. The jewels bring to mind Spain's colourful and passionate culture, with references to the country's ancient citadels, hand-painted tiles, red roses, majestic toreros and carnival revellers.

At the heart of the collection is an exotic rose with champagne and white diamond petals, as well as rubies and diamond earrings inspired by Spain's architecture and the sensual movement of flamenco dancers.

Zoya's luxury consultant Nisha JamVwal hosted the cocktail evening, which was attended by the crème de la crème of Delhi's social circuit. "This distinguished collection is a milestone for the brand," he says. "Zoya is not merely a jewellery store but a dazzling gallery of fine art, where indulgence comes alive in fine designs of gold, diamonds and precious stones."
