Cate Blanchett dazzles in Van Cleef & Arpels at her latest film premiere in New York

The award-winning actress Cate Blanchett accessoried her Balenciaga dress with Van Cleef & Arpels jewellery at the premiere of her latest film, 'Blue Jasmine'.

Monday night saw celebrities, including Cate Blanchett, turn out for the premiere of Woody Allen's latest film, 'Blue Jasmine'.

Held at MoMA in New York, Cate Blanchett stood out from the crowd in her custom-made peach Balenciaga dress, which she paired with unusual jewellery from Van Cleef & Arpels. The actress, who stars in the drama wearing bespoke costumes created by Karl Lagerfeld, chose a stunning pair of white gold and diamond "Socrate" earrings for the occasion. She also wore an on-trend "Socrate" between the finger ring on her pinky finger.

Numerous other celebrities attended the event, including co-stars Alec Baldwin and Peter Sarsgaard, though Woody Allen himself did not attend.

The film is set to be released in New York and Los Angeles tomorrow, and later in the year in the UK.

Help us make the future bright

Since founding The Jewellery Editor in 2010, we have grown our digital magazine to be the number one global source of information and inspiration for fine jewellery and luxury watches.

3,500 articles, 150 videos with over 5 million views and a reach of over 2 million per month on social media later, we have offered unparalleled and highly respected coverage of our sector. However, despite our editorial success, we are financially struggling as an independent publisher.

Entirely funded, owned and run by Christine and Maria in London, we are now looking to sell The Jewellery Editor so that it can continue to grow. As e-commerce becomes a priority in our industry, we believe there is huge potential for engaging editorial content and are seeking a buyer who shares our values and passion so that under their guidance we can give a bright future to the platform and help us grow our business to the next stage.
