The collaboration between Indian jeweller Amrapali and the flamboyant fashion designer Manish Arora has given us three colourful collections in the last two years and 2014 Paris Fashion Week provided the stage for the dynamic Indian duo to launch their latest collection for autumn/winter, inspired by sticky-sweet candy.
With its eye-catching graphics, Peruvian patterns and blasts of colour, the new collection is a sugar rush to the jewellery industry. Inspired by sweet-toothed nomads and gummy-bear gypsies, the jewels include unique head pieces, belts, knuckle rings, hand ornaments and ear cuffs bursting with acidic colours and vibrant designs.
You can feel the raw energy of India's king of psychedelic fashion as tribal style meets with cute little cupcakes and dangling hearts. One of Manish Arora's favourite motifs, the heart, is featured in almost every piece, from statement belts and cuffs to the regular rings and earrings.
