One of Piaget's most recognisable designs, the ultra-slim Altiplano has broken many records over the years and continues to do so with the new Piaget Altiplano Date. Featuring a Calibre 1205P automatic movement measuring just 3mm, the world's thinnest automatic movement, housed in a record-breakingly slim 6.36mm case, its purist proportions are reproduced on the dial too, which tracks only hours, minutes and seconds, with a date window at 9 o'clock. All 221 watch components are entirely produced in-house in this world first of a watch and, despite its reduced size, the rotor that powers the watch is capable of driving the movement for an impressive 44 hours.
