When the Calibre de Cartier watch was launched in 2010, powered by Cartier's first movement to be developed entirely in-house - the Calibre 1904 MC - it marked a new era in watchmaking for the historic maison. One of the latest additions to the collection is the Calibre de Cartier Diver, which, true to Cartier's innovative spirit, is a remarkable dive watch. With each watch subjected to rigorous testing, the Calibre de Cartier Diver has ISO 6425 certification, which ensures it meets the highest standards for sub-marine usage. This rose gold model features a black dial with the signature Cartier oversized XII hour marker at 12 o'clock. Hours and minutes are indicated by rose gold hands, with the seconds counted in a rose gold-framed sub-dial at 6 o'clock, which has stop-start functionality. The tri-date aperture at 3 o'clock arcs elegantly between 2 and 4 o'clock, mirroring the curve of the case. For essential legibility during a dive, all diver functions on the face are Super-LumiNova treated. The black ADLC-coated unidirectional rotating bezel smoothly moves through 120 notches, 1 per half minute, ensuring high-precision timekeeping. Despite being water-resistant to 300m, the Calibre de Cartier Diver is one of the slimmest dive watches available. The rose gold case measures 42mm across - just 1.2mm larger than the original Calibre de Cartier watch - and is a wearable 11mm thick.
