Diamond times with the new Piaget Limelight Diamonds jewellery watches

Embellishing time is a Piaget speciality, and the new high jewellery Limelight Diamonds watches are testimony to the Swiss luxury maison’s refined taste.

The new Piaget Limelight Diamonds watches have been directly inspired by the shape of diamond solitaires, creating something truly glamorous for the wrist.

Since the early 1960s, Piaget has married the domains of high watchmaking and high jewellery to create some of the most memorable jewellery watches in the world.

Leading ladies of the day, including Jackie Kennedy, Sophia Loren and Mireille Mathieu, all proudly flaunted their Piaget jewellery watches, and the story continues with the new Piaget Limelight Diamonds watches - elegant high jewellery watches that follow in the scintillating wake of Piaget's Limelight collection. The twist here is that the two models have been directly inspired by the shape of solitaire diamonds.

Fully in tune with the 21st century woman, Piaget conceives these watches as a way for women to regale themselves with something special. Dressed to the nines or dressed down, these new Piaget watches add a touch of luxury to every minute of the day.

Described as "solitaires of watchmaking", the Limelight Diamonds oval-shaped case - measuring a petite 28 x 23mm - echoes the shape of the classic solitaire diamond while the rectangular case - a dainty 15 x 31mm - mirrors the shape of an emerald-cut diamond. Crafted in white gold and set with over 1.00 carat of brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel, you can choose between a sleek black lacquer dial or a white gold dial fully set with pavé diamonds.

In true black tie style, the feminine black satin strap has been enhanced with a gold ardillon buckle set with a single diamond.

Help us make the future bright

Since founding The Jewellery Editor in 2010, we have grown our digital magazine to be the number one global source of information and inspiration for fine jewellery and luxury watches.

3,500 articles, 150 videos with over 5 million views and a reach of over 2 million per month on social media later, we have offered unparalleled and highly respected coverage of our sector. However, despite our editorial success, we are financially struggling as an independent publisher.

Entirely funded, owned and run by Christine and Maria in London, we are now looking to sell The Jewellery Editor so that it can continue to grow. As e-commerce becomes a priority in our industry, we believe there is huge potential for engaging editorial content and are seeking a buyer who shares our values and passion so that under their guidance we can give a bright future to the platform and help us grow our business to the next stage.
