Polly Wales studied Fine Art Sculpture before following her passion for jewelry and retraining at the Royal College of Art in London. Combining her skills as a sculptor and her love of traditional casting methods, she started creating one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry, casting precious gems directly into rich gold. The crown of her new Ourika collection is her bridal trio, which took home the Bridal prize at the Couture Design Awards in 2016. Like her entire collection, the end masterpieces are organic, unconventional and mesmerizingly beautiful, using recycled gold and ethically sourced diamonds, such as the central Phaedra ring, which features a large rectangular pearly diamond amid a burst of eight baguette diamonds.
