Celebrating its 175th anniversary, Patek Philippe has launched a collection of watches that honour the Swiss watchmaker's history of fine horology. One of the limited edition watches dedicated to women is this Patek Philippe World Time Moon, reference 7175. This timepiece combines two complications, the poetic beauty of the Moon phase and the patented Patek Philippe World Time function. Housed in a 38mm rose gold case with a diamond-set bezel, the centre of the dial is given over to the majestic Moon phase dial, with sparkling silver stars and a Moon of incredible realism completing a rotation around the dial in a lunar month. The signature rotating disks of the World Time detail all 24 time zones controlled by a single pusher at 10 o'clock. Central rose gold hour and minute hands tell local time. A new automatic ultra-thin movement was developed to combine these two complications, calibre 240 HU LU, with a 48-hour power reserve and water resistance to 100m. The solid caseback is engraved with "Patek Philippe 1839-2014". This elegant ladies' watch is worn on a tonal light brown alligator leather strap secured by a fold-over clasp.
