A wonderful amethyst and rose gold ring from historic jeweller Fabergé. A deep purple faceted oval-cut amethyst is prong set around a swirl of rose gold scrolls that sweep around the band. Inspired by the gold scrolls found on the Rocaille Fabergé Egg created in 1902 for Russian heiress Varvara Kelkh, the Rococo collection is a modern interpretation of this rococo style. The ornate asymmetrical rose gold swirls are reminiscent of many Fabergé designs. Reinterpreting this as a single stone cocktail ring, with its minimalist lines, offer an entirely contemporary twist.
