The origins of the ethically-sourced emeralds in this Fabergé Dalliance Libertine I watch became the inspiration for the watch itself. A tribute to Peter Carl Fabergé’s passion for bold colours, the dial’s central dome represents the relief of the geographic terrain of Gemfields' Zambian mine from which the emeralds were sourced. The relief uses snow-set and polished emeralds along with rough, hand-carved emeralds delineated with fine gold filigree to represent the region’s rivers. As with the other Fabergé watches in the Dalliance collection, traditional centrally mounted hands are replaced with a peripheral disc, which leaves the central motif undisturbed. Fitted with an AGH 6911 movement and a 50-hour power reserve created exclusively by veteran watchmaker Jean-Marc Wiederrecht, the Dalliance Libertine I watch combines stunning creativity with the expert craftsmanship for which Fabergé is renowned.
