Independent designer and Fendi scion Delfina Delettrez - a favourite with the Fashion Week crowd - is embracing the trend for brooches, and the results are marvellously daring. Delettrez’s new-wave jewels include directional pieces like this surreal bejewelled Anatomik brooch, composed of a cartoon-like black diamond eye - all 30.87 carats of it - with pearl-tipped eyelashes chained to a pair of ruby-studded lips.
