Pearls and Chanel go hand in hand, and to mark this time-honoured tradition, the Parisian maison designed this show-stopping necklace for the Chanel Les Blés high jewellery collection. The Moisson de Perles necklace offers a twist on the classic multi-strand pearl necklace. Rather than string pearls of the same size together, or neatly graduate them, Chanel chose to intersperse small and large pearls in a rhythm that feels almost random. All of the 298 pearls in the triple string are cultured Japanese white pearls, apart from the largest pearl on the white gold and white diamond wheat decoration, which is Indonesian.
