Dendritic pink sapphire and tsavorite ring

The Dendritic collection by Alexander Davis, who boasts a degree in biochemistry as well as impressive jewellery-making skills, is inspired by the branching patterns of molecules. The structure of this yellow gold ring mimics this scientific structure as it wraps round the finger. Colour has been injected into the design by the addition of bezel-set pink sapphires and tsavorite garnets, each of which have been set by hand. Each Alexander Davis jewel is handcrafted in the designer's workshop in central London.
