The understated elegance of Jan Logan makes her a fixture among the Australian fashion, film and music industries’ emerging talent, who are making their mark in Los Angeles and London.
Her red carpet wattage is assured, but Jan Logan, whose serendipitous adventures in the jewellery business only began in her 40s, is also a chic icon because of the ease of her pieces.
Jan Logan jewellery is for contemporary women that wear jewellery daily. Wearability is paramount; layering encouraged - but uniqueness might express itself in unexpected choices that juxtapose unusual stones and textures with traditional materials. Her ever-present diamonds in white and black sprinklings comprise this mix of classicism and modern luxe, but you’ll find black neoprene, South Sea pearls and gold, too.
The Jan Logan flagship store is in the Double Bay area, a suburb to the east of the city centre, so the branch within department store David Jones is the practical option if the goal is exploring the jewellery offerings along Castlereagh Street and Martin Place.
A luxurious jewellery house with a directional approach to timeless glamour, poised on a driven individual who prizes independence and purpose.
Family owned, Jan Logan celebrated its 25th year in 2014. Jan’s son Angus joins her at the brand’s in-house studio and workshop - it is there that all the creative, buying and manufacturing teams work alongside each other, with each stone and every piece hand-set and hand-finished. The store also sells some vintage jewellery, mainly Victorian/Art Deco, along with some retro pieces.
Jan Logan offers a selection of bridal jewellery featuring her ever-present diamonds in white and black sprinklings, along with South Sea pearls and gold pieces.
