Behind the rising brand was Hans Stern, a young German émigré but a Brazilian at heart. In 1945, at age 22, he had founded a small gemstone trading business, which was to be the beginning of this success story. In 1964, while Hans was preparing to cross the Atlantic to expand his business in Europe and the Middle East, Time Magazine called him "the king of diamonds and coloured gems, capable of unveiling the personality hidden in every precious stone".

H.Stern’s Oscar Freire boutique elegantly embodies the imposing presence of this prominent Brazilian jeweller in one of the most prestigious shopping locations in cosmopolitan São Paulo.
All H.Stern watches are made in Switzerland. Other brands sold at the boutique include TAG Heuer and Baume & Mercier.
The boutique sells only H.Stern jewellery, which is all crafted in-house.
