Distinguishing himself as both a jeweller and artisan over the last decade, Ara Vartanian’s jewellery is adorned with rare stones and each piece is unique.
Ara Vartanian was born into a family of jewellersin São Paulo and grew up surrounded by precious stones, learning techniques and gaining experience that would later inspire his own creations. He began designing jewellery in 2000 and immediately developed an unmistakable style, creating bold and challenging pieces. From his workshop in Brazil, Ara Vartanian has become known for his use of innovative techniques, such as inverted diamonds, the double and three-finger ring, and his distinctive Hook earring design.
The Ara Vartanian boutique at Cidade Jardim opened in 2010 and was the designer’s first store in Brazil. This boutique combines modernism, brutalism, vintage furniture, intimate lighting and rare objects from the designer’s personal collection.
The concept behind Ara Vartanian’s atelier encompasses, above all, ideas about shape, singularity and precious stones. Art, substance, a dream: this is how Ara Vartanian envisions jewellery.
To experience a brand that believes in the importance of uniting fine jewellery with architecturally intelligent spaces.
The boutique sells only Ara Vartanian pieces and all jewellery is handmade in his atelier in São Paulo. The atelier is integrated with the showroom where the designer leads a team of artisans, personally supervising every step of the jewellery production process. Although overseas shipping is available, it does depend on the request. Online purchases can only be made in the US via modaoperandi.com and brokenenglish.com.
A range of Ara Vartanian bridal jewellery is available at the boutique.
