Brit jewellers Yunus & Eliza accessorise Game of Thrones' Mother of Dragons

London-based Yunus & Eliza create a wearable sculpture in the form of a dragon for one of Game of Thrones' best-loved characters, Daenerys Targaryen.

Yunus & Eliza Daenerys Targaryen Game of Thrones

The thrilling season finale of Games of Thrones may have left viewers on the edge of their seats, but we were equally in awe of the fierce silver dragon necklace worn by actress Emilia Clarke.

This fierce silver dragon necklace, worn by actress Emilia Clarke's character Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, features a bespoke dragon's head, hand-carved from wax before being cast in sterling silver.

London-based Yunus & Eliza collaborated with the show’s costume designer Michelle Clapton to create the neck sculpture, which was hand-carved from wax before being cast in sterling silver. As befits the character of Daenerys Targaryen, otherwise known as the Mother of Dragons, the bespoke piece features a menacing dragon’s head resting on her collarbone.

Established by sculptors Yunus Ascott and Eliza Higginbottom in 2009, Yunus & Eliza has been part of Stephen Webster’s Rock Vault initiative since 2012. The design duo have also created jewels for the movie Jack the Giant Slayer and for fashion label Fyodor Golan’s London Fashion Week catwalk show.
