Russia’s dramatic Jewellery Theatre steal the limelight with the Caravaggio collection

Russian Jewellery Theatre Caravaggio collection, charm bracelet

Russian Jewellery Theatre brings a dramatic flourish to the luxury stage.  Irina Dorofeyeva and Maxim Voznesenky set up the company in Moscow in 1998 and have been creating extravagant jewels bursting with colour and intriguing details. I particularly like the zesty Caravaggio collection but it was a tough call between these slices of fruit or the delicate lattices of gold and diamonds of Revelation or the writhing flames and splashing waters of Elements. These jewels tread a fine line between artistic exuberance and breathtaking details. Other titillating creations bring fungus to the finger in the form of  mushroom rings or darling little pea pods with pearls all tucked up in a diamond pod. Worth exploring as this company is one to go for opulent gesture on a grand scale.
