London’s theatre talent dazzle in jewellery by home-grown designers

The Olivier Awards displayed not only London theatre's most talented but also top-notch British jewellery designers including Asprey and David Morris.

Opera singer and presenter Lesley Garrett wore David Morris' Art Deco style diamond and emerald drop earrings.

The stars of the stage and their glittering jewels were out in force last night for the prestigious Olivier Awards.

The illustrious ceremony, held at the Royal Opera House in association with MasterCard, was attended by the cream of London's theatre talent currently treading the boards in the West End.

Presenter Samantha Barks set off her Burberry Prorsum gown to perfection with a pair of dazzling earrings and matching bracelet from Asprey's Daisy Heritage collection.

Asprey was also the jeweller of choice for Best Actress nominee Hayley Atwell, who wore a Peridot Oak cocktail ring and earrings from designer Shaun Leane's collection for the jewellery house.

David Morris was well represented on the red carpet with four of last night's attendees choosing jewels from the London-based jeweller. Presenter and former Olivier award winner Leigh Zimmerman looked resplendent in a one-of-a-kind pair of emerald and pearl tassel earrings, matched with a stunning emerald palm leaf ring and emerald bead bangle. Opera singer and presenter Lesley Garrett also sparkled in a pair of Art Deco style diamond and emerald drop earrings that complemented her green lace dress.

Downton Abbey actress Daisy Lewis opted for diamond earrings and three diamond bangles from the iconic David Morris Rose-Cut Collection, while two-time nominee Scarlett Strallen chose a pair of rose gold and diamond earrings and matching bracelet from the Tree of Life Collection.
