A new release from luxury publisher Antique Collectors' Club delves into the stunning world of contemporary jewellery. Researched and written by jewellery expert Juliet Weir-de La Rochefoucauld, '21st Century Jewellery Designers: An Inspired Style' focusses on modern-day jewels from a variety of acclaimed names.

The range of jewellers chosen by Juliet shows a keen eye and a finely honed understanding of jewellery, making this a reference book of jewellers for our times. This is a tome that I will be frequently consulting given the richness of information, range of artists included and, of course, the beautiful images.

Featuring Michelle Ong from China, Stephen Webster from the UK, Hemmerle from Germany and JAR hailing from France, the 360-page coffee table book covers a wide variety of the most revered modern-day designers from around the world. As well as 500 beautiful colour photographs, the hardback publication includes in-depth interviews with each designer, giving readers a unique insight into the inspirations, passions and design process behind each unique jewel.

As well as established names from across the globe, the book also includes a chapter on the rising stars in the industry, exploring who is set to influence the world of jewellery design in the future.

Great-granddaughter of Thomas Weir, the man who founded the jewellers Weir & Sons in Dublin in 1869, the author, Juliet Weir-de La Rouchefoucauld, has long had jewellery connections. A member of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain, she began her career at auction house Sotheby's. Currently based in France, she now writes about jewellery. This is her first book, and she is currently working on a second title.

'21st Century Jewellery Designers: An Inspired Style' is available to buy now from the Antique Collectors' Club website.
