Looking at the previews for this week's Couture Show Las Vegas, it is hard to avoid the clean lines of the baguette cut.
Evoking Art Deco elegance and architectural precision, the cut is everywhere - either as a side stone or taking centre stage. We take a look at some of our favourites.
Diamond baguettes are the perfect accent to the strong, angular lines of Monique Pean's modern masterpieces: citrine open cage earrings in recycled yellow gold.
Nam Cho's sapphire and diamond earrings, meanwhile, are a harmonious puzzle of baguettes and round-cut stones in a dazzling blue.
And if the outfit calls for white ice, Cho's convertible Navajo earrings echo a Native American pattern as you've never seen it before.
