Boucheron exhibits with botanical artist Makoto Azuma in Tokyo

The new L'Artisan du Reve exhibition in Tokyo is a collaboration between jewellery house Boucheron and Japanese botanical artist Makoto Azuma.

Boucheron-x-Azuma--Collier-Bouquet-d-Ailes

Flowers and jewels come together in an exhibition in Tokyo called 'Boucheron & Azuma, L'Artisan du Reve'. For this showing of fine jewels inspired by nature, the Parisian jeweller has collaborated with botanical artist Makoto Azuma to create dreamy landscapes inhabited by diamond winged butterflies, bejewelled dragonflies and precious peacocks. The centrepiece is the much admired 'Bouquet d'Ailes', a necklace quivering with pink, lilac and orange butterfly wings set 'en tremlant' that sits lightly on the neck.

Makoto Azuma, the esteemed haute couture florist and plant sculptor, has created alluring environments to showcase Boucheron's latest haute joaillerie pieces, which will be on display at the High Jewelry Museum and Café at Café/Space, Roppongi Hills, Tokyo. Entrance to 'L'Artisan du Reve' is free, and the exhibition runs until Sunday 26 May.
