Guilloché decoration

Also known as engine turning, guilloché is an engraving technique in which a pattern is mechanically etched on the surface of metal. Often used on dials, guilloché is used to create patterns and surface texture. If the guilloché is coated with enamel, it is referred to as flinqué.
