About Chopard
Original founder Louis-Ulysse Chopard's company is one of the
great family-owned Swiss jewellery and watchmakers. Established in
1860 yet experiencing spectacular growth in the 1960s, they are
amongst the ranks of a few select brands that offer a complete
collection of luxury watches and jewellery, including quartz and
mechanical timepieces, gem-set as well as state-of-the-art models
for both men and women. So synonymous with innovation, creativity,
and design are they, that the Palme d'Or was redesigned by Chopard
in 1998 as well as the Chopard Trophy which is also awarded at the
Cannes Film Festival every year.
